Lushootseed Tutors

Lushootseed (also known as Skagit-Nisqually, Puget Salish, or Puget Sound Salish) is the language of a number of indigenous American tribes of the US state of Washington. There are currently only a handful of people who speak Lushootseed, the last speaker with a full native command of the language dying in 2008, but there have been recent efforts to revive it. Scroll down to browse our Lushootseed Tutor options. Carmenta's Lushootseed Tutors have a working knowledge of the Lushootseed as well as expertise in a number of other Native American languages.

Carmenta Tutor rates range from $75/hr. to $220/hr. If you are interested in hiring one of our tutors, please Email or call us at (212) 203-8734.
